CRUSADER is a high-speed tool steel. It has an outstanding balance of red hardness, edge toughness and wear resistance. Additional carbon and vanadium content provide superior abrasion resistance and maximum cutting qualities. CRUSADER is a desirable steel for machining operations which require a smooth workpiece finish as in form-tool cutting and roll turning. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity as well as fracture toughness.
