CRUCIBLE CPM 9V is a tool steel made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) Process. It is a lower carbon and vanadium modification of Crucible CPM 10V with enhanced toughness and heat-check resistance. This provides CPM 9V with an excellent combination of properties for both hot and cold-work applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on wear resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and machining. Filing Code: TS-464. Producer or source: Crucible Materials Corporation.

For demanding applications in industry, alloys have been custom crafted by powder metallurgy as systems for wear or wear/corrosion resistance. CPM 10V and 9V tool steels provide excellent wear resistance, and CPM 440 V, MPL-1, and CPM-M4 are used when superior corrosion resistance and excellent wear resistance are required This datasheet provides information on composition and hardness as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion and wear resistance. Filing Code: TS-517. Producer or source: Crucible Materials Corporation.

CPM 1V is a powder metallurgically produced high-vanadium cold-work tool steel. It is an upgrade to H13 with higher hardness and better temper resistance for longer die life. The alloy also has better heat resistance and higher hardness than H19. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, and elasticity as well as fatigue. It also includes information on heat treating, machining, and powder metal forms. Filing Code: TS-605. Producer or source: Crucible Service Centers.

Micro-Melt A11-LVC is a high-vanadium tool steel produced by the Carpenter Micro-Melt powder process. It provides higher toughness than Carpenter Micro-Melt A11 (Alloy Digest TS-571, January 2000) with lower wear resistance. It is used where slightly less wear resistance than that of Micro-Melt A11 is acceptable. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on high temperature performance and wear resistance as well as heat treating and machining. Filing Code: TS-573. Producer or source: Carpenter.
