Abstract
Carpenter 303 aluminum modified stainless steel is free machining, but has better formability than Type 303 Se (see Alloy Digest SS-379, January 1981). This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-940.
