ARMCO 17-7 PH is a precipitation-hardening stainless steel that provides high strength and hardness, excellent fatigue strength, good corrosion resistance and minimum distortion on heat treatment. It is easily formed in the annealed condition, then hardens to high strength levels by simple heat treatment. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: SS-3. Producer or source: Baltimore Specialty Steels Corporation. Originally published December 1952, revised May 1989.
