ANACONDA Alloy 260 nominally contains 70% copper and 30% zinc. This alloy is the most ductile of the brasses and also has fairly high strength; it is used in greater quantity than any other copper-zinc alloy. It takes its tradename (Cartridge Brass) from its use as the standard material for artillery and small-arms cartridge cases. It offers excellent-to-good resistance to corrosion in most environments. Its many uses include architectural, automotive, electrical, hardware, industrial, munitions, plumbing and wire applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-395. Producer or source: Anaconda American Brass Company.

AMBRALOY-687 is an aluminum brass alloy containing arsenic as an inhibitor to dezincification. It is recommended for condenser and heat exchanger tubes. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-213. Producer or source: Anaconda American Brass Company.
