ANACONDA Alloy (C) 521 is the phosphor bronze used where the highest demand is made for resilience, strength and resistance to fatigue. It has generally higher mechanical properties than Anaconda Alloy (A) 510 which is the most widely used phosphor bronze. Alloy (C) 521 has excellent to good corrosion resistance in most environments. Typical applications include heavy-duty springs, bridge bearing plates and heavy-duty cold-headed parts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-381. Producer or source: Anaconda American Brass Company.
