AMPCOLOY is a copper-cadmium alloy with high electrical and thermal conductivities in combination with high strength and toughness. Among its many applications are current-carrying rings, resistance-welding electrodes and back-up bars. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-315. Producer or source: Ampco Metal Inc..
