AMBRALOY 614 is an aluminum bronze with high strength and excellent resistance to corrosion in a wide range of environments. Also, it is rated as one of the most ductile of the strong and durable aluminum bronzes. Compared with tin bronzes which have been used since ancient times, aluminum bronzes have gradually become popular only since aliminum became commercially available about 85 years ago. Among its many uses are marine hardware, structural components and corrosion-resistant tanks and vessels. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-437. Producer or source: Anaconda American Brass Company.
