This 21 Cr-9Ni-N austenitic stainless steel develops substantially higher tensile strengths than the familiar austenitic stainless alloys. The alloy has good corrosion resistance and good weldability. It is commonly listed as grade XM-11. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-638. Producer or source: Allegheny Ludlum Corporation.
