ALLCAST P400 is an aluminum-magnesium-zinc permanent mold casting alloy. It is recommended for food handling and chemical plant equipment and where good resistance to corrosion and tarnishing are required. It does not respond to an age-hardening heat treatment. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fatigue.
