This producer has pioneered the development of the -T77 temper, a high strength corrosion resistant temper for Alloy 7150 plate and extrusions. Alloy 7150-T77 provides weight savings opportunities in structure governed by static strength requirements but where "overaged" condition corrosion resistance is required. This datasheet provides information on composition, tensile properties, and compressive strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming. Filing Code: Al-442. Producer or source: Alcoa Mill Products Inc..

... and T77511 extrusions when tested according to ASTM G 47. The 7055-T77 SCC capability is between 7150-T61 and 7150-T61 plate and extrusions. General Characteristics: Alcoa introduced alloy 7055 in the T7751 temper for plate and the T77511 for extrusions in 1991. This new 7xxx alloy was specifically developed...

The 7xxx series alloys contain zinc as the main alloying element, usually in combination with magnesium and copper. Alcoa’s high-strength 7055 alloy is supplied as plate and extrusions and used for compressive strength applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, tensile properties, and compressive strength as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming. Filing Code: AL-428. Producer or source: Alcoa Mill Products Inc.
