ACO Eurobar EN-GJL-250C (5.1203) is an intermediate-tensile-strength gray cast iron that is produced by the continuous casting process. Compared with the lower strength gray cast iron grade, EN-GJL-200C (5.1202), it possesses superior wear resistance, while still maintaining good thermal conductivity, damping capacity, and machinability. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on heat treating and machining. ACO Eurobar EN-GJL-250C (5.1203) is an intermediate-tensile-strength gray cast iron that is produced by the continuous casting process. Compared with the lower strength gray cast iron grade, EN-GJL-200C (5.1202), it possesses superior wear resistance, while still maintaining good thermal conductivity, damping capacity, and machinability.
