ULTEM 6100 and 6200 are glass reinforced and ULTEM 6202 is a mineral filled copolymer resin. For properties of the unreinforced resin, ULTEM 6000, see Alloy Digest P-27, June 1991. These are high temperature materials that are particularly suitable for military electrical components which must survive 200 C testing. This datasheet provides information on physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance. Filing Code: Cp-16. Producer or source: G. E. Plastics.

VERTON OF-700-10 is a long glass fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide. It has been engineered to maximize the benefits of long fiber reinforcement while maintaining the ease of processing and good fiber despersion associated with conventional short fiber reinforced compounds. Impregnation of the fibers with the resin is by pultrusion rather than the usual compounding extruder. This enables a high level of impregnation to be achieved without damaging the fibers. This datasheet provides information on tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on casting. Filing Code: Cp-9. Producer or source: ICI Advanced Materials.

ULTEM 2100, 2200, 2300 and 2400 resins have high heat resistance, inherent flame resistance with low smoke evolution, broad chemical resistance and outstanding processability. Glass reinforcment provides increased rigidity and dimensional stability while maintaining good processing features. The ULTEM 2000 series is available in both low viscosity and mold release grades in addition to the standard grades. This datasheet provides information on physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fracture toughness. Filing Code: Cp-5. Producer or source: G. E. Plastics.
