Silicon Core Iron is a low carbon silicon electric furnace melted iron recommended for direct current and alternating current magnetic applications in solenoids, armatures and other flux carrying parts operating at high saturations. It is furnished in five grades: A, A-FM, B, B-FM, and C. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties.
