Copper Alloy No. C35600 is a brass containing an extra-high level of lead. It is suitable for high-speed screw-machine work. It has moderate strength and ductility which are dependent on how much it has been hardened by cold working. Typical uses include clock plates and nuts, clock and watch backs, clock gears and channel plate for industrial use. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-522. Producer or source: Brass mills.

MUELLER Alloy 3602 is a leaded brass of moderate strength and ductility. It is suitable for moderate thread rolling. Also, because of its free-cutting characteristics, it is suitable for high-speed screw-machine products. Among its many applications are hardware, unions, bolts, screws and nuts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-489. Producer or source: Mueller Brass Company.

MUELLER Alloy 6421 is a modification of MUELLER Alloy No. 6420 (Alloy Digest Cu-266, February 1973). Alloy 6421 has the same general properties as Alloy 6420 but with somewhat superior ductility and resistance to corrosion. Alloy 6421 has extremely good resistance to corrosion, high strength, excellent ductility, good machinability and good hot-working characteristics. Its applications include aircraft and marine bushings, nuts, bolts, and pickling equipment. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-471. Producer or source: Mueller Brass Company.

CARPENTER STAINLESS TYPE 414 is a hardenable (martensitic), nickel-bearing chromium steel. It resists corrosion from the atmosphere, fresh water, mine water, crude oil, blood, alcohol, mercury and many other reagents; however, it is rarely considered for high-temperature service because scale formation starts when 1200 F (649 C) is exceeded. Type 414 is used for many heat-treated parts such as high-strength bolts and nuts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-438. Producer or source: Carpenter.
