for article titled, STROLOY 2A: High Strength Low Alloy Steel
STROLOY 2A is a high yield strength alloy steel for use where good weldability, ductility and toughness are required. It is furnished in the water quenched and tempered condition. It can be welded readily by prescribed are welding procedures and is used in welded structures such as crane booms and draglines. It is supplied as tubing and shapes; for details see Forms Available. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SA-327. Producer or source: Babcock & Wilcox Company.
