for article titled, COPPER ALLOY No. C44300: Admiralty Metal Inhibited by Arsenic
Copper Alloy No. C44300 is a copper-zinc-tin alloy inhibited by arsenic; it is commonly known as inhibited admiralty metal or admiralty brass. It has a good combination of strength and ductility and good resistance to general corrosion. The small addition of arsenic (nominally 0.06%) is made to minimize the alloy's susceptibility to dezincification and stress corrosion. It is used widely for condenser, evaporator and heat-exchanger tubes and associated applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-526. Producer or source: Copper and copper alloy mills.

for article titled, MUELLER ALLOY 7060: Copper Nickel Corrosion Resistant Alloy
MUELLER Alloy 7060 is a copper-nickel-iron alloy. It has good strength at moderately elevated temperatures and can be fabricated by both hot and cold-working procedures. It contains nominally 11/4 iron to increase its resistance to corrosion and erosion. It has good resistance to corrosion by salt water and is used in marine service. It is used widely for condenser tubes, distiller tubes, heat exchangers, evaporators and water heaters for domestic service. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-501. Producer or source: Mueller Brass Company.

for article titled, SANDVIK SANICRO 28: Austenitic Stainless Steel
SANDVIK Sanicro 28 is an all-purpose low-carbon stainless steel alloy for service in highly corrosive environments. It has exceptionally high resistance to various types of corrosive attack and has good weldability. Among its numerous applications are evaporator tubes in the production of phosphoric acid; down-hole tubulars in deep, sour gas wells; piping and heat-exchanger tubes in sulfuric acid service and seawater cooled heat exchangers. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-442. Producer or source: Sandvik. See also Alloy Digest SS-831, September 2001.

for article titled, COPPER ALLOY No. C60800: Aluminum Bronze
Copper Alloy No. C60800 is a medium-strength aluminum bronze containing nominally 95% copper and 5% aluminum. It has good resistance to atmospheric corrosion and its resists attack by nonoxidizing mineral acids such as sulfuric, hydrochloric and phosphoric. It is used widely for tubing in such equipment as condensers, evaporators and heat exchangers. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-443. Producer or source: Copper and copper alloy mills.
