55-06 and 70-02 Ductile Dura-Bar are continuously cast ductile irons with about 50 and 75% pearlitic microstructures, respectively. 55-06 has about the same tensile strength as SAE 1045 as-hot-rolled steel. Its maximum yield strength and elongation are equivalent to a eutectoid carbon steel. 70-02 Ductile Dura-Bar has somewhat greater tensile strength up to 3 diameter and considerably higher yield strength up through 10 diameter. The elongation of 70-02 is lower than that of 55-06 because of its reduced ferrite content. This datasheet provides information on composition, microstructure, and hardness. It also includes information on heat treating. Filing Code: CI-62. Producer or source: Federal Bronze Products Inc..

The 50 Nickel-Iron Alloy is recommended for glass-to-metal seals. It is used with such glasses as Types 0120 and 9010 that have higher than normal thermal expansion and with certain ceramics. It is used in a number of applications where expansion must be almost linear to 1000 F. The 50 Nickel-Iron Alloy has relatively good mechanical properties; in fact, at room temperature it has a tensile strength of 80,000 psi and an elongation of 35%. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ni-276. Producer or source: Mills that produce iron-nickel alloys.

RMI 5A1-2.5Sn ELI (ELI = Extra Low Interstitials) is an alpha titanium alloy that was developed for use at cryogenic temperatures. It has a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 100,000 psi at room temperature with good ductility and formability; its yield strength and elongation increase substantially as temperature is lowered. It is used successfully for high-pressure vessels at temperatures below -320 F. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and bend strength as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on low temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ti-75. Producer or source: RMI Company.
