for article titled, PERMADUR V: Soft Magnetic Alloy
PERMENDUR V is a cobalt/iron/vanadium soft magnetic alloy. It has a high saturation flux density, low DC coercive force, high permeability at high inductions and a desirably low magnetostrictive coefficient. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on heat treating. Filing Code: Co-85. Producer or source: Spang Specialty Metals.

for article titled, CARPENTER HIPERCO 50: Magnetic Soft Alloy Bar Form
CARPENTER HIPERCO 50 is a magnetic soft alloy used primarily as magnetic core in electrical equipment requiring high permeability at very high magnetic flux densities. These magnetic characteristics permit weight reduction, reduction of copper turns and insulation in the end product in comparison to magnetic alloys having lower permeabilities in the same magnetic field range. This datasheet provides information on composition and physical properties. It also includes information on heat treating and machining. Filing Code: Co-83. Producer or source: Carpenter.

for article titled, CARPENTER 430FR SOLENOID QUALITY: Chromium Iron Alloy
Carpenter 430FR Solenoid Quality stainless steel is a ferritic chromium-iron alloy developed especially for A.C. and D.C. magnetic circuit applications such as solenoid valve core components and electromagnetic relay cores. The electrical resistivity of 430FR is approximately 25% higher than other commercially available 430F stainless. Increased electrical resistivity provides better performance of magnetic components, particularly at power frequencies and high magnetic flux density. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and hardness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-337. Producer or source: Carpenter.
