GUTERL M-2 is a molybdenum-tungsten type of high-speed steel with fairly good resistance to decarburization. It is a general-purpose high-speed steel and it provides excellent resistance to abrasion and shock. It is used widely for cutting tools. Among its many applications are hack saws, circular saws, lathe tools, gear cutters, planer tools and wood knives. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: TS-387. Producer or source: Guterl Special Steel Corporation.

GREEN LABEL DRILL ROD is a high-quality, tough, fine-grain, straight-carbon, water-hardening tool steel with a medium hardness penetration. It is supplied with a smooth, decarburization-free surface and can be used with very little machining for applications such as shafts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, and machining. Filing Code: TS-316. Producer or source: Carpenter.

Crucible 26-1 is a fully ferritic, titanium-stabilized, high-chromium stainless steel characterized by outstanding resistance to pitting and stress corrosion in chloride-containing environments. The steel is weldable and very resistant to intergranular corrosion after welding. It is produced by electric-furnace melting and AOD (Argon-Oxygen Deoxidation) refining. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-306. Producer or source: Crucible Stainless Steel Division, Colt Industries.
