Aubert and Duval PER72 (NiCr18Co15TiMoAI alloy) is a precipitation hardening, nickel-base superalloy. The alloy is solid solution strengthened by additions of chromium, cobalt, molybdenum, and tungsten, while additions of titanium and aluminum provide precipitation strengthening. Aubert & Duval PER72 combines high strength with metallurgical stability as demonstrated by excellent impact strength retention after long exposures at elevated temperatures. It also exhibits good oxidation resistance, as well as excellent resistance to sulfide corrosion. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on low temperature performance, high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming and heat treating. Filing Code: Ni-787. Producer or source: Aubert & Duval S.A. (a member of the Eramet Group).

Special Metals Inconel G-3 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. Some of the minor elements are controlled to yield increased resistance to heat affected-zone (HAZ) corrosion and improved weldability. Special Metals Inconel G-3 has excellent corrosion resistance to oxidizing chemicals and atmospheres. It is also resistant to reducing chemicals because of its nickel and copper contents. The nickel content also provides the alloy with exceptional stress-corrosion-cracking resistance in chloride-containing environments. The high molybdenum content provides very good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. The low carbon content helps prevent sensitization, giving the alloy resistance to intergranular corrosion. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-774. Producer or source: Special Metals Corporation.
