Brush Alloy 390 was specifically designed for high-power applications and provides a combination of high strength and high conductivity. Increasing power requirements drive the need for lower conductor resistance to reduce joule heating. This alloy has a high thermal conductivity that is critical to thermal management. Higher power requirements create harsh environments and higher operating temperatures. Alloy 390 provides excellent stress-relaxation resistance at elevated temperatures, which increases electrical contact reliability. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and elasticity as well as fracture toughness, deformation, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance. Filing Code: CU-712. Producer or source: Brush Wellman Inc.
