CarTech GADS Vitallium is a non-magnetic, cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy possessing a unique combination of high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, high wear resistance, and improved fatigue strength over its counterparts R31537 and R31538. This alloy is a dispersion-strengthened variant of BioDur CCM, manufactured as a wrought powder metallurgy product. It is produced by vacuum induction melting (VIM) followed by gas atomization and hot isostatic pressing to produce 100% dense billets. These billets are then processed by conventional steelmaking practices to produce finished products. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and machining. Filing Code: Co-144. Producer or source: Carpenter Technology Corporation.

Deloro Stellite 25 is a cobalt-chromium-tungsten-nickel alloy. This tungsten strengthened cobalt-chromium alloy is the cast version of the wrought cobalt-base alloy L605. Deloro Stellite 25 is resistant to wear, galling, and corrosion and retains this resistance at high temperatures. Its exceptional wear resistance is due mainly to the unique inherent characteristics of the hard carbide phase dispersed in a CoCr alloy matrix. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as machining. Filing Code: Co-142. Producer or source: Deloro Wear Solutions GmbH.

Deloro Stellite 21 (UNS R30021), previously known as Stellite 8, is similar to the medical implant alloy ASTM F75. It is a Co-Cr- Mo-Ni alloy that was developed in the mid-1930s as a corrosion resistant alloy, and rapidly found application as a biocompatible hip implant and denture alloy. This alloy consists of a CoCrMo alloy matrix containing dispersed hard carbides that strengthen the alloy and increase its hardness, but that also decrease its ductility. The type, shape, size, and distribution of the carbides are strongly influenced by the processing history of the alloy, and for this reason, the mechanical properties of Deloro Stellite 21 depend greatly on the manufacturing route and any subsequent heat treatments. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as machining. Filing Code: Co-139. Producer or source: Deloro Wear Solutions GmbH.

SPS Technologies MP159 is a cobalt-nickel multiphase alloy that possesses a unique combination of ultra-high strength, good ductility and toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance. This alloy was developed in response to the need for a fastener alloy that could perform under the higher operating temperatures required for turbine engines and other high performance motors. It has advantages similar to MP35N but can perform in applications up to 593 °C (1100 °F) and is suitable for short term use at even higher temperatures. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep and fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming and heat treating. Filing Code: Co-138. Producer or source: SPS Technologies, Inc.

Deloro Stellite 20 is a Co-Cr-W-C alloy. It is the most abrasion resistant standard cobalt based alloy. Its high chromium content ensures good general corrosion resistance and high-temperature oxidation resistance, while the increased tungsten level provides superior high-temperature properties as compared to Stellite 6 or 12. While it has low shock resistance, it is often the only answer for some applications such as slurry pumps or chemical resistant parts. It is typically used up to a temperature of about 600 °C (1110 °F), depending on the application. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance. Filing Code: Co-135. Producer or source: Deloro Wear Solutions GmbH.
