CREUSABRO M has special properties obtained by annealing and quenching, resulting in an austenitic structure which has the ability to rapidly work harden. Its ductility provides good cold forming characteristics as long as the austenitic structure is present. It has remarkable abrasion resistance in applications involving impact or a combination of impact/sliding abrasion resulting in work hardening. Typical applications include rock and earth moving equipment, wear plates and liners for crushers and grinding mills, and also where wet impact/abrasion conditions are present. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-360. Producer or source: Creusot-Loire Steel Corporation.
