for article titled, FERRO-TITANIT WFN: Carbide Alloyed Stainless Steel
Ferro-Titanit WFN is one of a series of metal-matrix composites manufactured by a powder metallurgy process and is a range of carbide-alloyed materials from Deutsche Edelstahlwerke. The WFN grade contains 33 wt.% titanium carbide. Because of its high wear resistance and low tendency toward cold welding, Ferro-Titanit is particularly used in forming and cutting tools, hydraulic jacks for polymer production, and pelletizing and granulating cutter blades. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, and hardness. It also includes information on heat treating and machining. Filing Code: SS-1281. Producer or source: Deutsche Edelstahlwerke GmbH.

for article titled, C1119 Modified and C1144 Modified: Free Machining Steel Plate
Bethlehem Lukens Plate (BLP) C1119/C1144 Modified steels are resulfurized carbon steels containing nominally 1.15% Mn and 0.20 to 0.33% S to provide a free-machining steel. They are recommended especially for high-production automatic machining. They have relatively low hardenability. Their ductility and toughness are reasonably good in the longitudinal direction, but they tend to be low in the transverse direction. The many uses include mining equipment, bushings, bolts, and gears. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-436. Producer or source: International Steel Group Inc.
