INCONEL Filler Metal 82 is used for gas-tungsten-arc, gas-metal-arc, and submerged-arc welding of INCONEL alloys 600, 601 and 690, INCOLOY alloys 800 and 800H, and INCO alloy 330. METGLAS MBF-35A is a brazing foil in ductile flexible metallic-glass form (a similar grade, MBF-35, is identical except that it has larger dimensional tolerances. It is a low-temperature filler metal foil designed for joining superalloys where the brazing operation should be done simultaneously during solution treatment. This foil exhibits excellent flow characteristics and will flow well into narrow joints. It is not recommended for use in severe corrosive atmospheres.
