MUELLER Alloy 6731 is a free-cutting heat-treatable bearing bronze for use where no cold working of the metal is required. It is supplied only as forgings for use against hard mating members. It has excellent mechanical and wear properties for bearings and gears. It can be soldered readily. Its applications include pump barrels, bearings, gears and bushings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-478. Producer or source: Mueller Brass Company.

Lead Babbit comprises a family of alloys used to cut down on friction in moving parts of machines. Alloys 7, 8 and 13 are essentially lead-antimony-tin alloys. Alloy 15 is an arsenical (about 1% arsenic) lead-base alloy. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, forming, heat treating, and machining. Filing Code: Pb-10. Producer or source: White metal bearing alloy producers.
