CARPENTER MOLY ASCOLOY is a chromium-nickel-molybdenum-vanadium hardenable martensitic stainless steel designed for service up to 1200 F (649 C). It is utilized in steam turbine buckets and in compressor components in gas turbines and in other high-temperature applications. LESCALLOY U1-18 is a medium-carbon, low-alloy heat-resistant steel having high strength to 1000 F (538 C). CRUCIBLE C-120AV is an alpha-beta type titanium-base alloy with 120,000 psi minimum yield strength in the annealed condition. It has good forming characteristics, is weldable with proper shielding and can be heat treated to high strength levels by solution treating and aging.
