NIMOCAST Alloy 80 is the casting counterpart of NIMONIC Alloy 80A (Alloy Digest Ni-10, May 1954). It may be used as as cast but develops optimum mechanical properties in the fully heat treated condition. NIMOCAST Alloy 80 is used for diesel engine precombustion chambers and for other high-temperature components. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-334. Producer or source: Inco Alloys International Inc..

CARPENTER 21-12N is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel for valves. It offers excellent high-temperature strength and hardness as well as corrosion resistance to combustion products. This alloy contains 0.15-0.25% nitrogen for increased high-temperature strength. It is widely used as the head material in two piece exhaust valves for both diesel and gasoline engines. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-316. Producer or source: Carpenter.

INCONEL alloy 751 is a high-strength, high-temperature nickel-chromium alloy. It is essentially the same as INCONEL alloy X-750, except that its slightly modified composition imparts increased rupture properties at 1600 F. It is used for diesel engine exhaust valves. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity as well as creep and fatigue. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Ni-116. Producer or source: Huntington Alloy Products Division, An INCO Company.
