for article titled, KAISER ALUMINUM ALLOY KA62: Heat Treatable Wrought Aluminum Alloy
Kaiser Aluminum alloy KA62 (Tennalum alloy KA62) is a lead-free alternative to 6262. It offers good machinability and corrosion resistance and displays good acceptance of coatings (anodize response). It can be used in place of 6262 because its physical and mechanical properties are equivalent to those of 6262 (see Alloy Digest Al-361, September 1999). This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and shear strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: AL-362. Producer or source: Tennalum, A Division of Kaiser Aluminum.

for article titled, KAISER ALUMINUM ALLOY 6061: Heat Treatable Wrought Aluminum Alloy
Kaiser Aluminum alloy 6061 has excellent joining characteristics and good acceptance of coatings (anodizing response). It is used in applications where weldability and corrosion resistance are needed. The alloy is typically used in fittings, brake pistons, computer parts, couplings, and valves. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: AL-360. Producer or source: Tennalum, A Division of Kaiser Aluminum. Originally published March 1999, corrected October 1999.

for article titled, ALCOA 6061 COLD FINISHED BAR: High Strength Cold-Finished Alloy
Alcoa 6061 alloy has excellent joining characteristics and good acceptance of applied coatings. It combines relatively high strength, good workability, and high resistance to corrosion. The alloy is widely available. The T8 and T9 tempers offer better chipping characteristics than the T6 temper. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as machining and surface treatment. Filing Code: AL-349. Producer or source: ALCOA Wire, Rod & Bar Division.
