Cleveland-Cliffs Chromeshield 29 Mo is a superferritic chromium-molybdenum stainless steel that has outstanding resistance to chloride-induced pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking. This grade is dual stabilized with both titanium and niobium to improve weld performance. Cleveland-Cliffs Chromeshield 29 Mo can be an alternative to titanium and high nickel grades. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as joining. Filing Code: SS-1356. Producer or source: Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.

Cleveland-Cliffs 444 is a low carbon, low nitrogen, dual stabilized ferritic stainless steel that provides pitting and crevice corrosion resistance superior to most ferritic stainless steels and some austenitic stainless steels. It is equivalent to Type 304 austenitic stainless steel in many corrosion environments and has a lower coefficient of expansion and better thermal conductivity. Cleveland- Cliffs 444 has superior chloride stress-corrosion cracking resistance to Type 304 and Type 316 austenitic stainless steels. It is oxidation and creep resistant at elevated temperatures, making it a preferred material for the most demanding applications in automotive exhaust. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming and joining. Filing Code: SS-1355. Producer or source: Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.

Cleveland-Cliffs Thermak 17 is a ferritic stainless steel that is stabilized with both titanium and niobium. When given a high-temperature, final solution anneal, the alloy exhibits dramatic creep resistance. The dual stabilization prevents carbide sensitization exposure and makes the alloy thermally non-hardenable. Cleveland-Cliffs Thermak 17 is designed for demanding, hot-end automotive exhaust applications where intermediate or high chromium grades may not be sufficient or where down gauging for lightweighting is desired. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming and joining. Filing Code: SS-1345. Producer or source: Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.

Cleveland-Cliffs 430 Ultra Form combines good corrosion resistance with heat and oxidation resistance up to 815 °C (1500 °F), while having improved mechanical properties over type 430 stainless steel. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and joinability. Filing Code: SS-1344. Producer or source: Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.

Cleveland-Cliffs 11 Cr-Cb is a ferritic stainless steel that has increased silicon levels and is dual stabilized with titanium and niobium. It provides elevated temperature strength and oxidation resistance superior to that of type 409 and comparable to those of 18 Cr-Cb and type 439 stainless steels. This alloy should be considered for applications in which type 409 stainless steel provides only marginal strength and oxidation resistance. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming and joining. Filing Code: SS-1343. Producer or source: Cleveland-Cliffs Inc.

Outokumpu Moda 409/4512 is a weldable, titanium-stabilized 11.5% chromium ferritic stainless steel with good oxidation resistance in dry air. Because of its titanium alloying, Outokumpu Moda 409/4512 can be welded in all dimensions without becoming susceptible to intergranular corrosion. It is possible to use Outokumpu Moda 409/4512 at elevated temperatures, for example in automotive exhaust systems, where it is often used to replace aluminum-coated carbon steel. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-1342. Producer or source: Outokumpu Oyj.

Outokumpu Moda 439/4510 is a titanium-stabilized 17% chromium ferritic stainless steel that exhibits improved corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability when compared to Outokumpu Moda 430/4016. It is best suited for mildly corrosive environments. Because of its titanium alloying, Outokumpu Moda 439/4510 can be welded in all dimensions without becoming susceptible to intergranular corrosion. It is possible to use Outokumpu Moda 439/4510 at elevated temperatures, for example the cold end of automotive exhaust systems. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-1341. Producer or source: Outokumpu Oyj.
