for article titled, CLIMAX 15-3: Martensitic White Iron
The CLIMAX 15-3 type alloys are martensitic white irons having an excellent combination of abrasion resistance and thoughness. For specific purposes, the use of four carbon ranges is recommended. These are: (1) Extra High Carbon (XHC), (2) High Carbon (HC), (3) Medium Carbon (MC), and (4) Low Carbon (LC). This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity. It also includes information on wear resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: CI-43. Producer or source: Climax Molybdenum Company.

for article titled, ALMANITE W: Abrasion Resistant White Cast Iron
ALMANITE W comprises a series of three types of austenitic-martensitic white irons characterized by high hardness and relatively good impact strength. Type W1 has a pearlitic matrix. Type W2 has a martensitic matrix, Type W4 is highly alloyed to provide an austenitic matrix in the as-cast condition which may be further modified to give a martensitic matrix by heat treatment or by refrigeration. This datasheet provides information on composition, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on casting, heat treating, machining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: CI-42. Producer or source: Meehanite Metal Corporation.

for article titled, NI-HARD TYPE 4: Abrasion Resistant White Cast Iron
Ni-Hard Type 4 is a wear-resistant martensitic white iron with improved resistance to fracture under repeated impact. It is recommended for jaw crushers, hammer mills, pulverizers and similar heavy duty wear resistant components. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: CI-34. Producer or source: Alloy iron foundries.
