Dura-Bar 202 (Type 2) Ni-Resist Iron is a flake graphite austentic cast iron that is produced by the continuous casting process. It is suitable for most applications requiring Dura-Bar 201 (Type 1) Ni-Resist Iron, and the grades are often used interchangeably. The machinability of Dura-Bar 202 (Type 2) Ni-Resist Iron will be similar to the pearlitic grades of gray iron, namely G2 and G2A. It is especially suitable for service temperatures above 705°C (1300°F) and in the stem handleing applications. Copper levels are maximized at 0.50%, and this grade is suitable for food grade applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as heat treating. Filing Code: CI-100. Producer or source: Dura-Bar Metal Services.

JSA FC300 is a higher-tensile-strength gray cast iron that has a pearlitic matrix, and a minimum tensile strength of 300 MPa (44 ksi), when determined on test pieces machined from separately cast, 30 mm (1.2 in.) diameter test bars. The tensile strength of JSA FC300 approaches the maximum tensile strength attainable in gray cast iron. It provides a combination of high strength while still maintaining good thermal conductivity. Applications, therefore, tend to be confined to those where thermal conductivity requirements in service preclude the use of one of the other higher-strength materials such as spheroidal graphite cast irons, which have inferior thermal properties. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and tensile properties. It also includes information on casting and heat treating. Filing Code: CI-97. Producer or source: Japanese Standards Association (JSA).

for article titled, CEN EN-GJL-150 (5.1200): Gray Cast Iron
CEN EN-GJL-150 (5.1200) is a low-tensile-strength gray cast iron that has a tensile strength of 150–250 MPa (22–36 ksi), when determined on test pieces machined from separately cast, 30 mm (1.2 in.) diameter test bars. It is useful in situations where high thermal conductivity, damping capacity, and machinability are important, but where tensile strength and hardness are not the crucial properties in service. The high carbon content of this material also imparts good lubricated bearing properties, provided that the environment does not include abrasive debris that can score and wear the soft matrix. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and tensile properties. It also includes information on casting and heat treating. Filing Code: CI-91. Producer or source: European Committee for Standardization.
