EASTERN Z-METAL is a cast ferrous alloy that possesses a unique combination of high strength, machinability, wear resistance, and toughness. Its microstructure consists of temper carbon nodules dispersed through a uniform matrix of spheroidite and ferrite. This alloy is made in several different grades.
