ANACONDA Alloy 220 is a copper-zinc alloy having good formability and good resistance to dezincification and stress-corrosion cracking. Among the binary brasses it holds a favored position where product appearance is an important factor; it possesses a rich and pleasing bronze color. Among its many applications are architectural trim, cosmetics containers, hardware, munitions and miscellaneous. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
