MICROZINC Alloy 190 is a zinc-copper alloy with good atmospheric corrosion resistance and a low coefficient of sliding friction to eliminate galling in service. It has maximum strength commensurate with good ductility and drawability. Processing differences give two commercial products or classes designated 191 and 192. This alloy does not stain other materials. Its many uses include terrazzo strips, eyelets and weatherstrips. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and shear strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as casting, forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Zn-29. Producer or source: Ball Corporation, Metal and Chemical Division.
