Abstract

Carpenter CTS-B90 alloy is a high-carbon, chromium-molybdenum-vanadium martensitic stainless steel that provides high hardness and wear resistance. This alloy attains a hardness of up to HRC 57/59 when heat treated and is used for knives, cutting tools, and bearing applications. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, and hardness. It also includes information on corrosion and wear resistance as well as forming, heat treating, and machining. Filing Code: SS-1155. Producer or source: Carpenter Specialty Alloys.
