Abstract

LeanDup 35N is a dual phase austenitic-ferritic stainless steel that has the ability to become as important as 316L. It offers better corrosion resistance than 316L in many environments, yet has similar machinability to 316L and a reduced cost due to the much lower nickel and molybdenum levels. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-1141. Producer or source: Schmolz + Bickenbach.
