Abstract

NUCLEAR METALS NM-100 is a highly alloyed martensitic steel characterized by excellent resistance to wear and corrosion at temperatures up to 1100 F. It is a powder-metallurgy (P-M) product with a fully dense, wrought structure made possible by a process that includes hot extrusion of canned, pre-alloyed powder. It is used for high-temperature components such as bearings and bushings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-369.
