Abstract

AISI 1335 is a low-alloy through-hardening steel of moderate hardenability. It is used where medium strength and low-to-medium toughness meet the requirements of the application. It may be used in the unhardened condition or after quenching and tempering. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SA-330. Producer or source: Alloy steel mills and foundries.
