Abstract

Nickelvac K-500 is a nickel-copper alloy with age-hardening properties imparted by alloying additions of aluminum and titanium. The alloy is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance in an extensive range of natural and chemical environments, excellent resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking, and very high strength and hardness. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-595. Producer or source: Allvac Metals Company.
