Abstract

Colmonoy 98 is a nickel-base alloy with high corrosion resistance, particularly to sodium hydroxide, salt water, and sulfuric acid. It also has a low coefficient to friction to reduce metal-to-metal adhesive wear loss. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, microstructure, and hardness. It also includes information on corrosion and wear resistance as well as machining, joining, and powder metal forms. Filing Code: Ni-545. Producer or source: Wall Colmonoy Corporation.
