Abstract

G-E Alloy J-1500 is a nickel-base alloy specifically designed for high strength and oxidation resistance in the 1000 to 1600 F. temperature range. It responds to a precipitation hardening thermal treatment. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance as well as heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-45. Producer or source: General Electric Company. Originally published October 1958, revised June 1963.
