Abstract

HITENSO 162 is a copper-cadmium alloy that offers a unique combination of high tensile strength and high electrical conductivity in wire where ordinarily these properties are incompatible. It also is noted for its malleability and toughness. Among its many uses are heating pads, electric blankets, current-carrying rings and electrical contacts. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fatigue. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-416. Producer or source: Anaconda Industries.
