Abstract

MUELLER Alloy 3771 (formerly MBCo. Alloy 211) is one of the most widely used and most easily forged of the copper-base forging alloys. It is most often used in multiple sequence hammer forging operations where a wide forging temperature range is desired. It is also a free-machining alloy. Typical uses include valve bodies, putters and hardware. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-404. Producer or source: Mueller Brass Company.
