Abstract

FREE-CUTTING BRASS is a highly leaded copper-zinc alloy, combining free-machining characteristics with good mechanical and corrosion resistant properties, suited to high production in automatic screw machines. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Cu-112. Producer or source: Brass mills.
