Abstract

Aluminum 6101 is a heat treatable wrought alloy recommended for applications involving maximum electrical conductivity with moderately high strength, such as bus conductors. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and shear strength. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Al-155. Producer or source: Reynolds Metals Company. See also Alloy Digest Al-194, January 1970.
