U.S.S. 17 is high-chromium, corrosion resistant steel of the Type 430 classification. It is moderately ductile and non-hardenable through heat treatment. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue.
