Abstract
ALLOY B750 contains higher concentrations of copper and nickel than either 750 or A750 alloy and this, together with an addition of magnesium, makes the alloy suitable for bearing applications requiring operation at higher temperatures and improved resistance to thermal stresses. This alloy is used for the production of casting by the permanent mold process and is normally supplied in the -T5 temper. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance as well as machining. Filing Code: Al-88. Producer or source: Aluminum Company of America.
