Abstract
TYPE HC is a heat resistant 28% chromium alloy steel containing up to 4% nickel. It is recommended for oxidation resistance in high sulfur atmospheres. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-92. Producer or source: Stainless steel foundries.
